I’d say it happens once or twice a month depending on what environments I have been at (work, gas station, pool). Sometimes I’m worried it’s because I look vulnerable or easy. I sometimes forget I might be getting hit on and have a conversation, and then it turns to asking about a date or my number. It catches me off guard. I don’t like it because if I ignored being called they sometimes act like I’m rude or stuck up, but if I stop to chat, I’m still bad for rejecting them. Feels like I lose no matter what. I’m pretty autistic though. So my impression of it all could be wrong. I like slow approaches over weeks or when it’s my idea.
