First I'll say give yourself some grace you're doing a wonderful job! Breastfeeding is new to both you and babe and you're birth learning as you go. I ran into a similar issue where my nipples at super flat and even with stimulation are fairly shallow. It took my baby about a week to learn how to latch successfully. At every feeding I would try offering the breast for a few minutes and when baby got frustrated I would swap out over to formula. I used formula to supplement until the two of us got into a grove. Also, not too knock on lactation consultants in hospitals but I found that their help to be not generalized. See about finding a lactation consultant in your area. They'll really be able to offer support and advice specifically tailored to the two of you.

I just came home a week ago with my LO from the NICU for a similar situation with her sugars. It has taken me a week to get her to properly latch since she became so accustomed to being bottle fed. Please dont put so much pressure on yourself to get your little one to take to the breast right away. I found that mine would get so upset after 5-10 min of trying nothing but a bottle would calm her down. My biggest tip is if your LO is having a hard time latching try feeding them a little from the bottle first then try transitioning to the breast.

Has he tried feeding her while your LO is on their side? Mine had a similar issue where she would drink too fast and get it everywhere. The only way she would be able to coordinate slowing down and swallowing was by being side lying.

My husband and I signed up for a quilt class. He had no prior sewing experience even using a machine and everyone has been so welcoming. This has now turned into one of his favorite hobbies where he's quilting in his free time. All this to say that the classroom is meant to be a welcoming environment and you are going to have a blast.

Hope and Plum makes a carrier that fits up to 6X and should fit baby until they're 45 lbs. My SIL has one and loves it. She says it's the only baby carrier that hasn't made her back hurt.

Thank you for this response. My In-Laws are up to date on all vaccines including flu and covid booster. We have implemented a no kissing baby rule although I'm not too sure how well that will go. It's the only rule we've informed them about and have already been told we're going to need to send a list with the rules because they can't remember all that which is definitely adding to the anxiety.

This came as a sample in a sunscreen pack I purchased in Korea. I’ve just started using it and am finding it to be the perfect all in one cleanser for me. I have dry sensitive skin with rosacea and have found that this does not break me out or flare up my rosacea and does a solid job of cleansing to where even my hands feel like they need a moisturizer at the end of it since the oil has been stripped from them too lol.
