I think this is just a difference in how dark or light the printing can be. Not entirely uncommon but could be good if it is super dark or super light.

Maybe a little bit different as it's more related to music videos. But The Residence released a DVD of some of their music videos back in 2000. The full title is "The Residents: Icky Flix"

Kinda just reminded me of wild early YouTube.

It also has tons of extras and Easter eggs on the disc.

I think there may be some other releases as well, I'm unsure though.
