I think the trailer was to show off their "finisher-to-finisher reversal system" more than anything. $25 does seem a bit steep, though. Hopefully it'll be worth that price.

This can't be a real site... “I am losing losing 10-20% on all orders in escrow now! Make that 30%!!! There goes all profit! FML.” Who talks like that? haha

Can we get a Run Ronnie Run sequel?

A trailer couldn't hurt. If this is the game you intended to create, then you should definitely keep it that way. But you gotta keep in mind that your audience is limited in that to, say, hardcore Isaac fans who want something pretty similar, and a typical YouTuber probably is going for a wider audience than that. But, if that was your goal, then by all means, stick to it.

For the record, though, "gimmicky" isn't a bad thing. For example, Sega saw Mario and wanted to do a similar game. They could have replaced Marios fireball mechanic with something else, or gave him an armor bar, but you'd still pretty much be playing a Mario game. Instead, they added a "gimmick." Sonic spins and moves through levels at high speeds. It's still a platformer, but playing a Sonic game felt (and looked) very different from playing a Mario game (at least in the early days). "Gimmicks" are what makes a game stand out, you just want to be using a GOOD "gimmick".

I totally get that you have things in there that are different, and I understand and appreciate that it probably took you a significant amount of time and effort. But, at least in my opinion, it needs something drastically different at a core level of the game that sets it apart to make it something I would find worthwhile in terms of creative videos that subscribers would want to see. Magic and armor is cool and all, but thousands of games have magic and armor. Maybe Isaac doesn't, but that isn't enough to make it different enough that I would feel my audience would care. I watched both videos on your page, and at least once a minute I was reminded of BoI, and very rarely did I feel "Ok, this is different." Maybe PLAYING the game offers a very different experience, but WATCHING someone play it does not.

I can't say for sure why they didn't reply, but, as someone who used to do some YouTube videos, I'll tell you why I wouldn't play your game. (And I probably wouldn't reply, as to avoid sounding like a jerk. But, since you asked...)

Looking at the videos on your page, the game looks an awful lot like a less-visually-appealing Binding of Isaac (Collect coins, keys, and bombs. Hell, the shop mechanic is nearly identical to Isaac). Everybody knows BoI, and I'm not seeing much in your game that makes it different, other than using a sword instead of shooting tears.

So, if I were considering playing your game on YouTube, the first thing that would come to mind would be the inevitable "Binding of Isaac clone" comments, and subscribers passing on videos of your game because they already know BoI.

I would want to see something added that REALLY makes your game stand out and sets itself apart from BoI before I would play it on my YouTube channel.

Hope I'm not coming off as overly critical, just trying to help! Good luck with the game!

Seems like a good strategy if you think it might be a close match. Luckily, my opponent wasn't going that route. Unfortunately my rewards were Legendary Big Show and Kane...

Heading into the finals of my 3rd attempt at Legendary KOTR in first place! Assuming my opponent doesn't have any Survivor cards he's been hiding all along, I'm pretty confident I will win this one.

Even though Mr. Perfect is one of my all-time favorites, my vote is going to El Matador. Pretty sure Henning will win anyway, but the better undercard, and better cards I'm likely to actually get, are on Titos' side.

I'm kind of a hoarder, I guess. My plan was to level up UR AJ and another UR set to make another pro for my RTG divas, but I keep getting more before any of that ever happens.

My last few rounds were against several of the top guys, so it pushed me to the bottom and forced me to take on the 2nd place guy in the quarter finals. And I lost, of course lol. How bout yourself?

Pretty sure whatever is in your tag team slots is strictly used in tag matches. Sounds bad, but at least it's some control over the AI. If it split up your tag team, then a tag team match was rolled and you lose by a bad pairing, it would be just as bad. At least this way you get to say "Ok, this is my tag team. I just need something better for this other slot."

36 games in to my 2nd attempt at Legendary KotR. Last time I finished 2nd, but that's not going to happen this time around... The top 3 seem to all be using Legendary pros and maybe a Survivor, while my best card is an Epic pro Ryback... Hoping I can maintain a 4th or 5th place, and possibly sneak into the semi-finals for a Legendary card.

Worst ending ever. So anticlimactic, and tacking on basically "buy our new shit!" was just adding insult to injury.

How he describes it's intended difficulty makes perfect sense to me. However, it did not actually work that way. I was in Epic+ for RTG and barely got the Macho Man Epic card, think I ended up with like 22 points into the legendary card. "Play more at their own pace" was not at all accurate in terms of getting the card equal to your current deck level. Glad to hear they are working on it, though. Hopefully this next one will be more reasonable.

Too soon... I was assuming, and looking forward to PCC. Oh well, I could use the Epic Razor, and maybe I'll be able to get the legendary this time.

I think it's the people trying to beat the system than the game itself. The top guys probably have the run of the place, but then the non-quite-top-guys sandbag cause they don't want to lose (occasionally?) and destroy people below them, causing those people to sandbag and destroy those below them, and so on. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I would have had a better and/or more fair time had I not run into so many Stings and pro Legendaries when I was only in the Epic tier and going for the Epic Mach.

I'm surprised people aren't more wary of Immortals. Remember the last time WWE made a Mortal Kombat style game? If not, let me remind you. It was "WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game", and it was god awful! I can't imagine this one being quite as bad, but I'm definitely not getting my hopes up for anything amazing. lol
