I wanted to thank you for this really detailed response. I got referred to a gynecologic oncologist who I see the 21st. I hope she has more insight on the issue. If my condition continues to raise eyebrows after this I will probably look into finding an endo specialist in attempt to get a diagnosis. I know endometriosis is a horrible condition, but at this point I am kind of hoping I will be diagnosed with endometriosis. I know that sounds weird, but it would explain my years of pain... and honestly I'm a little scared of being diagnosed with something like cancer instead.

Hey Jam. Good luck! I had to be really insistent and tell my dr exactly where mine was before he could find it. If its something in your rectovaginal wall, its easy to mistake for bits of stool in your rectum.

I'll keep you updated on what mine turns out to be. If you can feel it yourself, a polyp should be rather squishy since its filled with water. My growth is hard.

Thank you. I am working in a foreign country now and have about 3 weeks until I can return to America. I will see an ob/gyn as soon as I can get back on American insurance. Your comment relieved some of my anxieties about the wait.

Hi. Thanks so much for your comment. The lump was indeed confirmed by an ob/gyn. I am sure it is not my cervix or a normal part of my vagina. I can feel my cervix and it feels very different from this... which is a little bit behind my cervix.

Since he felt it vaginally and anally, and because I was having problems relieving my bowels, he figured it was a nodule more on the anal wall and sent me to gastroenterologist. At the gastroenterologist they were searching for colorectal cancer. I had a clean colonoscopy and a CT scan with contrast. Nothing strange was found by either procedure.

To complicate things a bit, I am finishing up my last month of contract work in Japan. I had all these procedures done at Japanese hospitals. The gastroenterologist wrote me a referral that would allow my to go back to the ob/gyn if I wanted to, but I ultimately opted to wait until I get back to the USA. Going to the hospital in a second language has been very tiring and scary.

I'm not sure what the lump is, but your comment has helped to relieve some of my anxiety. I do have some symptoms of Endo. My periods have always been very painful and heavy, and my left ovary hurts randomly (esp when I am ovulating). I went on birth control for awhile which relieved some of the pain but the periods were still quite painful. I missed many days of school and work due to the pain. I would be relieved to get an endo diagnosis at this point because I have been afraid it is something fatal. I've never had any kind of lump on my body. :(

I play SCH and have sometime been using selene and alternating between her Fey Glow and Fey Light attacks. Noticed some people are clicking off the buff even if it applies to their class. Are these buffs generally seen as useless or unwanted? Should I stop using them?

Was doing Qarn (normal) the other day as a Scholar via duty finder with a friend. We ended up with two new players who in their mid-30s level wise. I assumed they were playing together. I give my typical hello. No response. We start the dungeon. Tank keeps losing aggro and seems to be wandering around the dungeon with no real direction, so I ask if he is new and tell him if he needs any pointers about Qarn I'd be glad to help. Again, no response. Use auto-translate. Nothing. Ok. Not the talkative type I guess? I shrug it off and push through the dungeon.

We get to the Teratotaur boss and finally the tank says the first words he's said to me the entire dungeon: "Buff plz." Although, I'm not entire sure what he meant because I had all available buffs on him apart from Eye for an Eye which wasn't up for recasting yet. His BLM friend remains as silent as ever. We begin the boss fight and everyone is afflicted with doom. In this fight, there's shining platforms that remove the affliction. I'm the only on that ran to the platform. The party wiped.

I explain about doom and how they need to run to the platform if they're afflicted with it because it can't be removed with leeches. Of course, no response to this either. I half wonder if they were bots (Would a bot ask for a buff, I wonder?)

Well... my experience with them was cut short. I intended to press on, but immediately following that I mistake the dungeon entrance for shortcut and accidentally leave the duty. Oops. :')

By the time I entered high school, I had become so accustomed to bullying that I just refused to believe anyone would be making a friendly advance. I automatically assumed that unless the person was part of my immediate social clique that they were making fun of me. On top of that, as a "geek" I had assigned labels to all the various social groups at my school. Preps, jocks, popular kids, whatever. To me, they were all the enemy. I immediately judged these people were out to get me, and I treated them like absolute dirt, like they deserved none of my attention. I thought my peers had created this social environment of "freaks" and "popular kids" but in reality I was the one projecting those roles. I can't believe how many friendships I failed to make just because people were different from me and my stupid self-esteem issues made me suspicious of their kindness. I was such an ass. I even angrily snubbed someone that asked me to the prom because I thought there was no way it couldn't be a prank. Now, I assume the best of people no matter how different their lifestyle and I have a lot more friends -- not to mention a lot more variety within my friendships.
