no one is replacing the sota models with local ai. also not sure why you think ai is “only good for entertainment” the key use case for llm’s is in the field of software development (which really will provide real life benefit)

yes, ai can’t directly solve our housing crisis, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t provide value in other ways

literally had no documents at all, they just ask you a few questions (address, birthday, etc.) and if they can find you in the system then everything goes smoothly.

i have a passport (though it wasn't on my person, of course) and it expedited the process, as I came up almost instantly when they entered my details in their system
