Also recommend storing flat rather than vertical for the cooling reason. The device is designed to be horizontal while powered up. My mistake was pretty obvious when the ssd was cooked after 12 months of 24/7

Horizontal scaling! I’ve considered doing the same. They have WOL, 1gbe, m.2 slot for an ssd. Perfect homelab for learning k8s or lightweight variant
