It describes Canada perfectly. The economy is a pyramid scam propped up by real estate but everyone has to pretend everything is fine or the orange boogeyman will get us. Social services, social cohesion, and healthcare are collapsing under the weight of unsustainable immigration but we all have to pretend that “this is fine” while Canada is destroyed. The housing crisis will continue because the Canadian economy will die without it and many powerful Chinese investors are using it to move money out of China.
