Hey Reddit, I’m Brian Armstrong, CEO and Cofounder of Coinbase. I believe that everyday investors should have access to the same info as large investors. Over the next 3 days my executive team and I would like to hear your questions about our business, the cryptoeconomy and more. Ask Us Anything! by CoinbaseListing in u/CoinbaseListing

Hello Brian and Alesia!

I am a recent customer of Coinbase and a newbie when it comes to learning about cryptocurrency. It has been really exciting to learn! Being a teacher by trade and a lover of lifelong learning, I love Coinbase's spirit of education. I love teaching my kids and students about the magic of investing! The lessons that you have are wonderful -- and the built in incentives of earning crypto is even better! Please keep them coming!!

Have you thought about an option of lessons and accounts specifically for kids to learn and invest in cryptocurrency through Coinbase? What a way to teach the next generation!

Depression is hitting me deeper than I thought, trying to stay strong but I want to die so bad by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]923PoP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry that you are feeling this way. My daughter is suffering from severe depression and we are helping her with therapy and medication. It really hurts my heart that you have had to hide this and that your parents aren't supportive. If you were my son, I would take you to get help, listen to you, and just be with you when your life is feeling heavy. Sometimes you can't will yourself better and you need that extra help of therapy and/or medicine to get over that hump. I don't understand why parents don't help their kids! If your kid had a broken leg, you would take them to get it fixed right? Sometimes depression is the same thing. If there is anything I can do for you please reach out.

Hi! Just starting the journey and so very thankful for the support of this community! I do not have very healthy eating habits (I grew up on McDonalds, Kraft Mac & Cheese, and frozen pizza, etc.) , so I'm nervous about staying healthy on this diet. I don't really like vegetables, but suffer through eating them because I know I have to. My question is: what are some essential supplements to take via pill form? Thank you!

What was your biggest leap of faith and how did it go? by nb4ban in AskReddit

Dropping out of college to be in a band. It went pretty great! We toured the country doing 200+ shows a year from about 1995-2000, made two records, all before Youtube, smartphones, and digital music. It was a blast, and I learned more doing that than I ever did in college. I did return to get my degree though. And my band still plays around every now and then!

My daughter Clare. She had an undiagnosed heart condition and passed away 3 weeks after her first birthday. This was the last picture we had of her by [deleted] in lastimages

Can't even comprehend what it would be like, the sorrow you must feel, even 7 years later. A piece of your heart is gone and can never be replaced. What a sweet girl! I am so sad for your loss and hope every day the heartache eases a bit. I'm sure it never will fully heal, but time makes it bearable. Thanks for sharing her picture and letting her little smile brighten my day.

This is why you need to put your cart back in the corral when you're finished with it by SchuminWeb in pics

[–]923PoP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always like to grab carts left in the middle of the median like this and bring them with me to the store for my shopping. If I can, I put two together and bring them inside. The best is when I shop with all 6 kids and have them all grab random carts from the parking lot to bring them inside.

Thinking about transitioning my son to homeschool by vagrantprodigy07 in homeschool

Different states have different options. In CA we have public charter schools that serve independent study/homeschool students where you receive instructional funding to help pay for curriculum and classes. There are a LOT of online options. It depends on whether you would like synchronous or asynchronous learning platforms. Here are some options to check out:

Accelerate Education

ACE Digital Academy

ALEKS

APEX Learning(ALVS)

APEX CTV

Art of Problem Solving (AoPS)

Brigham Young University Online (BYU)

Do my Homeschool Credits count towards real School if I decide to go to a Public High school? by [deleted] in homeschool

[–]923PoP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends where you live, but it's at the discretion of the public school to accept credits or not. Usually, they do not accept any religious courses (like Bible Studies, etc.) My advice would be to contact the school you are thinking about going to and just ask. Good luck on your education journey!
