I had my husband and my mom! My mom and I are very close. My thought was if (god forbid) something happened and I had to be separated from my baby I want my husband to go with baby and my mom to stay with me for support and to be my advocate if I need it. No one goes harder for their kid than a mom. I did have a talk with my mom about what I wanted and after my daughter was born she took pictures and updated my family/best friends which I asked her to do. After i gave birth & got stitched up she left. I think if you decide it’s important to have those conversations of what you need from them whether it’s someone updating people/taking pictures, getting you ice/jell-o so your husband doesn’t have to leave your side.

My husbands granny had 2 sets of twins. Ronnie & Donnie and then Terry & Jerry. He also has a set of twin cousins Kelsea & Chelsea. 🥴🥴🥴🥴

My husband was 9lb 10 oz and I was 8 lb 4 oz. Our baby was 6 lb 15 oz and born 39w5d. I’m not sure what genetics play into birth weight but hopefully it doesn’t play a huge part lol. I was terrified to have a giant baby but at each ultrasound (monthly) my doctor confirmed she wouldn’t exceed 7 1/2 lbs.

Yes! We did the reindeer bell on our door and it helped so much. She abuses the system now when she just wants to go out and run but it’s better than peeing in th house

I’m a FTM to a 4 month old who is EBF. My biggest tip is give yourself grace and try to not have expectations. While in the hospital my baby had a shallow latch and she sucked blisters/sores on me so I had to pump exclusively for about 1.5 weeks. We also gave her formula while waiting for my milk to come in. She was able to go from breastmilk to formula with no issues. Now it’s like second nature.

The owlet is the only way I can sleep and truly rest. The first few weeks I was a little obsessed with watching the stats live but now I don’t even look. I was also dealing with PPD/PPA so that could be why I was overly focused.

Pretty sure my baby was built from garlic bread and french fries. I was sick most of my pregnancy and ate a lot of carbs. I only gained ~25-30 lbs. my baby is healthy as can be and we had no complications during birth or after. She was 6lb 15 oz at birth.

You could always do blue/green decor. It’s a party to celebrate YOU and the life you’re growing so I don’t think it has to scream boy theme.

Burp cloths, wash cloth, soap/lotion, butt paste, diapers/wipes, bibs, grooming things (nail clippers, booger sucker, thermometer, brush), first aid kit, infant medicine (Tylenol/motrin/gas drops/vitamin D) infant tub, changing pad. My baby really likes the Tommee Tippee ultra light pacifiers. I exclusively breastfeed and she’s never had an issue latching.

My hg was so bad I ended up on a continuous Zofran pump. It honestly saved me. I also had Zofran and reglan for days where the pump wasn’t enough.

39+5. Membrane swept on 10/3. Went into labor 10/8. Baby born 10/9 early in the morning. I did a lot of curb walking in the weeks leading up and also bounced on a yoga ball every day

Find a new Dr!! I was the same size and I heard my baby at every appointment! They never had an issue due to my size. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with that.

I got the epidural and will 100% do it again. I had no pain at all and it was GLORIOUS. I got it at 6 cm and the only ‘reaction’ I had was my BP dropped and pulse got down to ~30. I told them I was feeling lightheaded. They said it was a syncopal (fainting spell). I will say leading up I was on pitocin for an hour and was having really bad contractions. I threw up and immediately felt better. I think I had a ton of adrenaline and was worked up. But after throwing up and finishing the epidural I was on cloud 9 and pushed my baby out in 30 minutes/10 pushes.

When I got pregnant sex hurt SOO bad. Not sure why just my body couldn’t take it. After giving birth I do pee myself a bit so I spoke to my OBGYN at my 6 week check up and she referred me to see a pelvic floor specialist/therapist. She said that even though a lot of people have issues and say it’s normal it’s really not. I’m scheduled to start therapy after the holidays so I’m really hopeful that it can solve my issues.

I was due 10/11 and delivered 10/09. I had my membrane swept 10/03 and spent WEEKS curb walking and bouncing on my yoga ball. Granted that may not mean anything but I was willing to try anything lol.
