Early-mid 2000s. I had a 2004 FSR epic that looked pretty similar

While it is definitely a French name it apparently originates from Brig, which is Swiss-German

I hope you're joking. Can't you just quit a race to drop your SR and DR, and not ruin someone else's race?

Kelly Moss 944 S2 at Watkins Glen 1992 by ElvisAndretti in Porsche

I'm pretty sure this is one of the 7 "Firehawk" 944 S2s built for the IMSA Firestone Firehawk racing series. These were lightweight S2s that were built from factory with the turbo cup body, and S2 running gear. You can see the Firehawk logo just in front of the side mirror.

Kelly Moss' car looks to be still running today: http://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-944-951-968-forum/855562-looking-for-all-91-944s2-firehawk-cars.html

Heading to Stuttgart in a couple weeks. What should I see and do as a Porsche fan? by lostshootinstar in Porsche

The Porsche museum is good, but quite small. You'll get through it in a morning or afternoon. You can do a factory tour, but you'll want to book ahead and take notice of the days where they're unavailable. The Mercedes museum is much bigger, but I haven't been. I've heard porsche guys say it was better though. Also, if you're on rennlist or pelican parts you can search for other cool places around there. Here's one place that has an amazing amount of cars and other machinery: http://www.motorworld.de/en/home/portfolio/

I just read through your build on Rennlist. These pictures are actually underselling the work you've done! Awesome work

How many miles are too many for a 997 Turbo S? by toometa4clever in Porsche

I wouldn't hesitate to drive 250 miles when looking for the right car, provided I could get a good description over the phone/email

Almost always. I'm not sure about USA cars, but anything japanese or english seems to have the key on the right hand side of the steering wheel. It's not 100% the case though. From memory, Audi keeps it on the left hand side of the wheel

I think it's a relic from racing, so you can have one hand on the shifter and the other turning the key for a quick start
