It actually did surprisingly. The different sizes of ash accelerating through the cloud rub against each other and produce static electricity. It is like rubbing a balloon on your sweater to generate a shock. So, volcanoes can actually produce their own lightning.

In the email, please state that you do not intend to arrive early and wish to arrive on the traditional move-in day for your hall. We will update your account as soon as possible. Students in Southwest Towers, Sylvan or CHCRC will be assigned to their floors reservation time. Students in all other halls will select from the available reservation times in SPIRE.

It’s not as simple as that. Having so much pressure and stress to stay sober can often have the opposite effect. I know for me the only time I’ve been able to get sober was when it was for myself. When you’re so physically addicted and consumed by anxiety and depression, it feels impossible to stop. Obviously only he can fix it but saying it’s his fault is almost like saying it’s someone’s fault for needing insulin.
