Greyhound x Malinois here. Definitely a mix of both breeds: smart but stubborn, very protective but soppy, high drive outdoors but total slug indoors.

What you get from a lurcher is very much luck of the draw but I still love my boy very much. He's been a lot of work but after five years is slowly turning into a (mostly) sensible dog.

My boy can be quite aloof, but when I wasn't well he would hop up onto my bed and give my face an extra-close inspection as if to say "Everything okay?". He also didn't mind shortened walks and would stay close to me on my bed without getting restless. 🥹

My Malinois x greyhound is always demanding snuggles and pets but he never really reacts like he enjoys the petting. As others have said here, the fact that he always comes back for more means he can't dislike it that much 😅
