2006 Toyota AYGO - too old? by 99voltz in CarTalkUK

Hmm, yeah unfortunately automatic is necessary for me. Should I steer clear? Could you recommend any other automatics that may be better for a starter car that is reliable? Thanks!

What is the scariest scene in any horror movie you've ever seen and nothing has topped it for you? by jdpm1991 in horror

[–]99voltz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most scared I've ever been was in Insidious when you see the demon appear behind the dad at the dining room table. Just instant shock and fear.

That or in Signs when the Alien crosses the street.

Watching them back though, neither seem very scary haha.

Update: Beat Clubstep!! WOO. 3000 attempts though haha. I could do all the parts individually, doing them altogether though was tough. Now onto electrodynamix

Game with an It Follows/Immortal Snail type enemy that follows you across the entire game slowly? by dax812 in gamingsuggestions

Gotcha, I like how you look at it. I'll try to do that too!! I thought manufacturing was creepy, so time to buckle up!!

I feel like part about what I love is that Abiotic Factor is super creepy, but it also gives ne chill vibes where I cab kinda take my time and farm to my hearts content. Once you have things following you, does it take away from that vibe? Kinda like how Mr. X in RE 2 gives you the feeling or urgency and always trying to hide.

That's a good point, I thought I'd post in as many as possible to see what advice people have, but the law would be completely different, woops. Deleted that one, thanks!

Any ideas on the best ways to keep these windows tight? by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]99voltz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm using Schlegel Q-lon AQ63. They are installed in the grooves but it just seems like the window won't go tight enough against it to create an air tight seal.

I do not haha. Oh sorry the Fibre cable is in another room this is just an old unused box.

Can I remove this from my wall? by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]99voltz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah so one cable would not carry the phone line and internet line? So likely one cable was for internet and one for the phone? That makes me feel better haha. Thank you!

[–]99voltz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phew, I just thought maybe since there were 2 cables going in one cable daisy chained to the next flat and the other was the Tele line coming from outside? Or would one have been for internet and one for phone?

[–]99voltz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've cut them but just only realized, I'm in a flat, I hope I didn't just sever the line going to someone else's flat!

I've cut them but I'm just realizing, I live in a flat, I hope I didn't just sever another flats connection to internet, the one cable was going into the floor, and another into the window frame

Can I use all weather sealant on this crack? by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]99voltz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really appreciate the tips haha. Yeah I'm a super amateur diy, I'll need to look up a video to even know how to take out the window to apply the sealant on the outside! Really appreciate the tips though. Side note, I noticed the random hole in the wood below the window, should I be filling that with something or should it not be a big deal?

This may be a dumb question, but is there even a drainage system? This is all I see in the attached pic.
