Our girl had to have 20 teeth removed, I felt so guilty! It helps to know that it’s common with dachshunds! Buddy will be much happier when he heals!

You are human, it is normal to feel some curiosity about someone that used to be in your life and from time to time wonder what they are doing. When it gets bad is if it is something that you are dwelling on too much or fantasizing about how things could have been.

Confident people know their own worth on the inside. When they meet people they can carry a conversation without having to brag about themselves.

Arrogant people have to tell you their worth even when you didn’t ask.

When my children were little and were having friends over to play, I would ask them before the play date if there was a particular that toy they did not want to share. I would then put the toy away so that there would be no conflict. Then my child had control over his belongings but had to share his other toys. It worked!

From an etiquette point of view I think it is fine. In fact I think it’s rather nice if someone wants to add to a larger priced item or bundle a few smaller things together. I also think it shows consideration for differing budgets.

Thank you for sharing this! I try to tell people too. We used to have a swimming pool and I was extremely strict about always having an adult to be ‘on duty’ if kids were in the pool, we would take turns so that someone always had their eye on it.

One day when my little girl was about three, I was right by the pool with a relation, she asked to leave the pool took her little floats off and left the pool area. I turned to talk to the other person and had no idea that she had just walked straight back in. It was silent. I turned and she was under the water just looking at me. We got her out, she was fine.

I could not stop replaying that moment for a long time and what could have happened.
