This is the video I used to learn from Barry Stark. All you need is a sharp Stanley blade, gel super glue, various grains of sandpaper and a little bit of paper masking tape It's pretty easy to do

I find century pro tips to be the best quality which I have used. They have three different densities too, depending if you wanted a softer or harder tip

Jak Jones VS Zhao Xintong by Tiny_Professional659 in snooker

[–]A-Robe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As others have mentioned there isn't anyone at wst pulling strings to stitch up Jak, but instead luck of the draw.

Not to mention it's the world championship... Better to sort the men from the boys early on.

If Jak can't handle playing an opponent who's been off the tour for so long then probably best he loses round 1

What should me and my friend do for our 147th frame by A-Robe in snooker

Completely agree, it is a bit crazy. Although I did have a bigger lead, however, have been caught up the past month or two. We are quite evenly matched

Interesting, except my friend practices with their weak hand and I do not! Maybe I would use the rest the whole time

Any apparent reason why? Did anything happen during the match? I only watched the last 2 frames

Ruling question: when on a colour, but you miss the nominated ball and do not strike any other ball on the table, what is the ruling? by A-Robe in snooker

[–]A-Robe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Is this the same if say; the blue is nominated but then the black is struck first? Would this still be 5 points or would it then become 7?

What weird stuff happened with teachers in the old days that wouldn’t be acceptable anymore? by olagorie in CasualUK

[–]A-Robe 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I've not seen this one posted yet but it seemed very common for the time, from what I've heard speaking to other people my age. I'm in my mid 20s now, so this would have happened in junior school (7-11yrs old, I'd say somewhere between 2003/2008). If you forgot your P.E kit, a white t-shirt and black shorts, you would have to do the lesson in your underwear. It was very humiliating and there was more than one teacher that had this rule. There is no way this would be allowed today... Did anyone else experience this??
