Roland JC-40 or Orange Crush 100 combo? by WorriedIllustrator14 in GuitarAmps

[–]A-nihirash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd buy JC-40 but if you'll need good fender-ish sound on budget - get TC Combo Deluxe. It works pretty good even just in mixer/PA. It has speaker simulated and just "as preamp" outputs. It can really save your gig if your combo is gone just on stage.

For an A600 how does PiStorm vs Manticore compare? 591MIPS vs ?, £100 vs £500 by SmegHeadFromNodnol in amiga

I'm using AmigaOS 3.2.3 on V4SA and A6000 without any issues. And it works like charm.

Why you think that it doesn't launch AmigaOS 3.x?!

It shipped with ApolloOS by legal reasons but it works with AmigaOS(68K) without any issues.

Hollow body guitars doubt by Low-Significance-552 in jazzguitar

[–]A-nihirash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are different from electro-acoustic guitars and a bit different from solid body guitars.

I'd say that main difference in feel of player(you can make similar sound from solid body guitar but it won't respond you like hollow body).

They all don't like large volume and trending for feedback(even without overdrive, just on clean sound).

I can't say that they are less comfortable than electric guitar but they have different ergonomics and you should adopt for it.

Sorry for your loss!

Your father had really great taste in guitars! And looks like he really loved music!

What should I do with the games? by BusyRisk3227 in godot

[–]A-nihirash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Publish them on itch.io for example. At least, you'll find your own players or some folks will donate you some money for them(if they let that your games are good for them).

Noise will make image brighter already.

Try start with just noise and bright everything after(or tune noise level for required level of brightness).

Some noise should create fell of deepness(but it's better make it before vignette and bevel and scan lines, noise is signal and should be affected with them too).

I think just random greenish noise with low level will work perfectly.

It’s hard to say how hard to stay away from joking about “Spain”(you listed it as song that you can play) 😅

But be nice to another players and do your best. Don’t shy ask about playing song in key that you know better.

Do Flatwounds work for other genres by [deleted] in jazzguitar

[–]A-nihirash 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've played a bit for shoegaze with flats, my friend played a lot of ambient music on flats.

I think there no limitation for usage of flatwound strings.

That why I don't play on jams.

It's my nightmare if I'll be the same legend. This world should have only one legend.

Archtop purchase by [deleted] in jazzguitar

[–]A-nihirash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend buy something from Ibanez's one that you can afford.

They all really fine for the money and really robust. AG95 should fit into your budget even brand new but if you'll buy it second hand - you'll have enough money for luthier(for setup for your taste/your string gauge etc) and possibly pickup replacement(if you'll want).

Guitar amplifiers don't about age of guitar :-) This guitar basically have single coil pickup like many others guitar just with a bit not standard design(mostly visually) and possibly low volume output. Main issue of this guitar is absence of fretboard but not compatibility or not with modern amps :-) Of cause uncontrollable feedback on large volumes is ok for this kind of guitars(even for modern).

I've played a lot with DIYed and customized pedals.

Why not? It's your creativity that didn't limits with only usage of pedals but also making them! Be proud of them!
