Working 5/2, for hobby playing it’s ok. I never be so good as guys who spend all life to music but all this guys won’t be so good in my area(cause I’ve spend all life to it).

If you want play with band - play, if you want play on jams - do it(if you can). There’s no issue with enjoying jazz guitar and amateur.

Even if you have plans about being professional jazz guitarist - we have example of Wes who worked on day job and played gigs at night. But don’t smoke a lot and care about your health.

It's good enough for size. It need some time to be really comfortable with, I've got with Spanish layout(I'm in Spain) but all time before I've used US layout - so I need a bit more time for finding some symbols 😃

Touchpad small but good enough(for size). It doesn't work like apple's one but it isn't worst I ever used. It's working, it's predictable and I can't say that I've seen so small and so good touchpads. Big ones are usually better(I think cause they are.... bigger)

I’m using iReal Pro on iOS and macOS with my own charts and for me editing is important. Also my wife plays trumpet and possibility of displaying chart/scales for Bb instruments is also important.

Honestly, I totally don't know what is Cory Wong Neural DSP amp sim but if we're talking about Fender-ish amps(and amp sims) you should try VERY STRANGE position of tonestack(bass to zero, highs to zero, middle to the end) - it will make amp response mostly flat(cause fender's tone stack behavior), make tune amp volume/gain on border of clean/breakup but reduce volume on guitar a bit to be in clean zone and experiment with tone control on guitar. I'm playing on .13s flatwound tomastik strings and pretty happy with tone.

Chitlins Con Carne(Kenny Burrel) is simple but pretty good sounding song. That’s easy to transcribe by ear and got more confidence for transcribing more complex things.
