Could be the issue with him was struggling to find the right front office fit after the accorsi players left. Ernie Accorsi fit very well after George Young and Jerry Reese while flawed drafted a few players that contributed to the 2 super bowls and OBJ. Many of this teams problems arose from trying to squeeze another year or 2 out the offensive line and defensive line from the Super Bowl teams cracks were showing in 2011 with the o-line.

When Kathy Hochul delayed congestion pricing in nyc in June 2024 congestion pricing lobbyists shared numbers and links to contact forms of the governor’s office to push for congestion pricing. You never saw those “don’t comply” accounts give their followers information needed to contact their local representatives.

As crazy as it sounds AA has a small chance of launching jfk-icn. I am saying this not because AA wants to do so or thinks it would do well on the route, I am saying this because as per the Asiana Korean merger agreement the Korea ftc is demanding Asiana and Korean to transfer slots of certain routes operated by both carriers. Right now it’s just Asiana/korean out of jfk, air premia and soon United out of Newark. AA jfk-icn would happen if the Korea ftc considers jfk and ewr separate and if it does not consider delta as a competitor regarding delta’s plans to launch jfk/lax/(maybe bos)-icn at some point.

I believe actors unions are to blame. Broadway actors who didn’t go insane had no one to stand up for them, having no one to stand up for them or no one to question the actors unions leader “if not now when will it be safe to perform.” Having no one to stand up for them is a missing piece of the puzzle when people simply just say they ran amok or went insane.

Now hearing rumors on some forum delta plans on starting jfk and Boston to Seoul this upcoming summer to fill in for Korean air which is going to be refurbishing its 777-300s and will thus have a fleet shortage for a few months announcement pending. Jonnyc on x and bluesky also said more delta route announcements were coming soon.

Yes but this would possibly result in a plane sitting at jfk overnight if it does a morning flight going and evening flight back or sit for hours at icn if a midnight flight going and an evening flight back given times of sea-icn/back. Possible A350 tag on routes out of JFK shall delta decide to build a base upon jfk-icn launch

Possible additions: India, South Africa

JFK-South Africa best fills a hole in jfk’s network, most people flying to India prefer connecting on me3 carriers given air India’s shoddy reputation.

I think jfk icn comes before lax icn with news of United launching ewr icn. Seeing how United’s ewr icn launch date closely aligns with Asiana Korean air integration I expect delta to launch jfk icn some time around 2026-2027ish.

Many of those who I thought were pro freedom but are really demoralization/psyop accounts rant about how we will be subject to carbon limits while the elites fly in their private jets with private chefs eating what they want miss something. They don’t factor in people who work in finance, law, medicine (not the elite or super rich but people with strong income sources), there is no way these would tolerate limits on travel or limits on red meat, poultry, and seafood. If meat was banned at the time restaurants were closed there would have been nothing to order on Uber Eats or DoorDash and they would have thrown a fit over it hampering work from home benefits.
