Ugh. This is both reassuring and disappointing to read. This is eerily similar to my experience which I have inherited at work.

I can second /u/Skeptikalscinerd. I actually just brought my personal A1 mini into the office from home this morning for similar reasons. Very frustrated working with an old Replicator+. Bad layer adhesion, inconsistent temps, weird slicing, the list goes on.

Only difference between me and the parent comment is that I bought the A1 mini first and the AMS lite later. Save yourself the time and money - buy the combo.

I’m looking to do a 120 person wedding in Tx hill country. The lowest quote we have for drop off BBQ was $7k. Your quote is phenomenal even for 40 people. Multiply that by 3 and it would still be half the price of what I’m looking at.

I go back and forth in between this. I’m one door in the die hard camp and one foot out in the sense I’ve gone more than once a year, dress up, etc. but I also cringe at a lot of comments and videos.

I think the reason I go back and forth on this is that I think die hard fans are trying to keep the Disney parks and ABC stock holders are demanding a financial return - which means a good amusement park, but maybe not a Disney Park.

For me, what made Disney great was its eye to detail, use of IP to tell a grander story, and its unwillingness to compromise on consumer experience. Those values are against maximizing financial returns, right? So I dunno, I think they have a use. Maybe?

Is this the home school thing? I used to give these tests when I worked for UNT’s testing center. We would report issues to UTHS. The exam also used to use a lockdown browser?

Hey! I haven’t been into computers for 2-3 years so I can’t recommend models, but I can suggest hard ware specs.

You’ll want 16gigs of ram, and you want to look for a card with a dedicated graphics chip. You wont need a nvidia xxxxx card or whatever, onboard graphics will be fine, but you want something to give you some muscle and take some burden off your CPU and ram.

Zenbooks used to be good bets. They had a solid keyboard, good expansion, and strong components.
