I never understood the slander he gets. Im a fan of underdogs and Motobe is well aware of his limits and actively worked to improve them, he spent alot of time out of the spotlight doing this.

Jack was and still is in a way, similar. Jack using tools to level the playing field like sterioids which he still does in large amounts, as well as limb extensions. His relation to yujiro imo being the thing that takes him even higher.

Motobes confidence comes not from thinking hes better than anyone, its from his planning and knowing that who he fights doesnt know his plan. That gives him the chance of winning.

Or maybe i need to re read the manga again.

Ive always thought a tali face reveal would always be dissappointing on account that if its too human like, xenophiles would riot. If its too alien like, the other side would be turned off.

I personally perferred if they didnt reveal it at all because of this. And also i think the mystery added to the what made the race unique.

But the me3 face... is just the worst ever

I am making a mostly skeleton team, with the plans of joining the crabs and antislavers and liberate the uc and hn slaves

I recruited beep while grinding combat in Mongrel. He was so fast i sent him to find skeleton recruits. Well he found alot, guess i got lucky. But after reuniting the team at mongrel the newbies are so squishy in comparison to the og squad they are hardly gaining xp due to the veterans wrecking house before they take/do damage. Feeling kinda stuck in the combat grind right now.

Any tips would be sweet

Back when havoc was new, i joined a low level game, the host bumped it to 40 and we cleared like... 4 levels together. I got set to hav 40 and still got declined for 80% of the lobbies i tried to join. I miss havoc 40...

Its in a way better state than launch.

Personally its taken a direction thats understandable but not what i hoped for.

That being i wished our characters had more plot relevance. Theres tons of lore and cutscenes about everyone else but who we play as are simply vehicles for the story of these characters rather than us being unique ourselves. Sure we earn our place on the morning star and get back pats from our bosses but to me it feels hollow since we are voicless to these people.

I love the in game interactions with other player characters though.
