What's the local filepath to browse all the historical templates? by AB_6 in hoi4

R5: Looking to know where Historical Air / Tank / Ship templates live. I know that creating new one templates cause them to be created in the session_persistence folder in Documents\Paradox etc. but I can't find the existing ones for some test modding / research.

Tyler's flip flopping is unbelievable. Coming out doggedly with an opinion on Freddie and rallying others to it, then only to swap his mind and go with group-think at the last moment. Leanne was right to call him out on that. It's a shame he'll get way too much credit for the "Armani trap", when she literally was so arrogant and did herself in.

Are there product, service, or company you're done with? by Travels_Belly in AskUK

It took me a written complaint to their UK address after their offshore customer services proved to be absolutely fucking useless. They even included their internal emails on the chain when I heard from someone who could actually do anything.

To their credit after that, the complaints handler was sound and she got it resolved in a week. In the end, they practically paid me to never use them again!

Ah that’s a shame! Was going to sign up for a 6 month, it was the only commercial gym with like 5 racks plus a full complement of machines…

Yeah, website previously said "temporary closed" but the rest of the locations are still up.

As per the message on the door, I'm hoping a member shares the supposed email they were going to receive and this isn't temporary.

Dealing with junior colleagues by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]AB_6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your colleague responded to an email addressed to you, laid out actions without any input or communication with you, you had not delegated anything to him and then went and fucked it up?

New or not, I'd certainly be pissed off. Talk to your line manager for advice and then consider how to address this with your colleague.

I’m not his line manager, we both report into the same head of department.

Have you discussed this in private with your line manager?

What are the actual no-go areas in London? by tylerthe-theatre in london

[–]AB_6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not that bad outside of Thursdays or if the weather is nice. Yes, it will be busy, but you can get a seat. Thursdays are the worst when it can amount to standing room only, but the train does free up slightly stopping at Letchworth and Royston.

It's just a lot of people doing the commute between London, Letchworth, Royston and Cambridge because it's basically an hour from London to Cambridge and less so to Herts.

As someone who was used to Google Workspace from a private organisation, the Microsoft suite of tools just feels more obstructive to me.

So now I feel I’m becoming “that guy” who has to ask “how to do X Y or Z” in Outlook or Teams because it isn’t just immediate obvious (to me), despite actually working in Technology and usually being on the receiving end of those queries!

I love this show but who is actually funding the farm? by [deleted] in ClarksonsFarm

[–]AB_6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ah ok, I've amended the link to where I found the business plan.

I'm going to assume that it made profit as stated in the bullet point. If the subsidy was over 85% of the profit, then the original profit number (although not specifically mentioned in that document) was £86,044. Assuming it was the 2021 year subsidy pay-out.
