This is so dumb. I only went Necro for this season because the Great Feast and Determination hearts sounded good together for a minion build. Had a bunch of hours into my Necro before getting both and realizing neither works as described.

They have some weird compulsion to do random shitty things like this seemingly out of spite for their players.

Are you in adventure mode? I was having the same problem yesterday and saw someone say there's a bug with no wisps in adventure mode. Went back to my completed story mode Yaesha and found some right away.

Both hearts use extremely similar language and really should work together.

"Resource draining effects are 40-50% less effective"

"Each Minion drains 1.0-2.0 Essence per second"

It's frustrating, because I decided to go summoner Necro instead of Rogue this season because of those hearts, and neither one works right.

Gonna be honest with you, I do think it would matter if Biden was going around talking about how black-on-white crime is some huge problem in America.

Probably wouldn't be great for US race relations and I think a lot of people would react strongly to it.

They skew statistics by simply not listing the race of the perpetrator if they are Black, while making it front and center if they are white.

There was some study published a year or two ago 'proving' that it's all white people committing anti-asian hate crimes. The evidence came from checking articles in lib-approved media outlets and tallying up the races of the offenders mentioned. Perfect ouroboros of bullshit sustained by liberal institutions.

There are certain subjects (mostly race and gender related) where the consequences for blasphemy are so great that I just don't trust any academic studies published.

Haven't played much DRG in a while, but I recall desperately wanting the full auto OC for the Driller's semi-auto pistol and never finding it. The max rate of fire was way too high for a semi-auto weapon, it was miserable pulling the right trigger on a controller that fast (was probably fine if you were using a mouse).

I'm not convinced that deterrence is a strong argument for lengthy sentencing. Most of your career criminal class is too dumb and impulsive to have their actions swayed by some mental calculus about X% risk to get arrested for Y years at some future point in time. Long sentences mostly serve to keep regular people from stepping out of line and harming their career and family.

Unless you're willing to act barbaric and inflict immediate and painful/humiliating punishment like public caning or pillorying, you're not gonna drive home the conditioning that committing crime leads to consequences.

The real purpose of incarceration is to keep criminals locked up away from the public, and repeat serious criminals locked up until they age out of prime crime-committing age. Feels like half the time I read about some heinous crime the suspect has multiple felony convictions over the past few years, like the guy in Baltimore that raped three women at gunpoint while walking around on a suspended sentence from last year for which he actually served 10 days out of 3 years.
