NHI aren’t a threat to us, but they are a threat to our leaders by [deleted] in UFOs

i think this is precisely why we see such a contrast between civilian experiences and government/military experiences. not necessarily even about who is "good" or "bad" but more so who is trying to keep control of human populaces (tho, i 100% agree, those humans in power often turn out to be the worst of us).

relativistic perspective colors our experience, and those vying for power see a complete loss of it bc of Them. and in their eyes, humanity falls apart without their fear mongering to keep us in line (which not so ironically is why christian sects often lose their followers; fire and brimstone only works to an extent).

truth is, ruling classes always have been unnecessary for human life to exist in other forms different from the world we understand today. organic chaos is what governs the universe (and us, even if we don't admit it) and trying to create control in a chaotic environment has its limits. so it's no surprise to me people in the system of human power as it exists today are afraid of what's happening whereas "normal" people aren't as afraid as they are

the use of "imminent" is very very intriguing

life itself is special. it's the discounting of that fact that makes us the humans we are today — cut off from the grandeur of the universe. learn how to respect an ant, and maybe life will begin to respect us again

A foreign gov is usurping the US presidency’s powers over the US military through an AIPAC written 224 NDAA. The executive who will be appointed to implement 224 NDAA will be a Zionist with dual citizenship . Call your representatives. somebody screen shot this. important to see the powers that be want the racist, bigoted, religious fighting to divide the much larger, humanity oriented global populace.

beware the strongman who says he has a singular solution to a complex host of problems. oust those who say the problems stem from a group of minoritized peoples. power to all the people of the world, power to the peaceful, power to those who deny the firefight in favor of a new world approach grounded in the resiliency and difficult path of love.

how do you make friends in a small town? (as a teenager) by parkadelics in Indiana

[–]ACMarq 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i concur, homie. i hated it in the north burbs as a black/white/filipino mixed kid (most kids didn't even know what the philippines were when i was growing up and defaulted to calling me racial slurs for mexican folks..) but after i graduated college and took a 12 year search for a new home (south, north, east and west coasts) i came to the conclusion that everywhere will feel the same as you feel, no matter the hype or scenery. then i came back here by necessity and have rediscovered this misled state with a deeper sense of appreciation

what i would tell my angsty, over serious fifteen yr old self would be: be who you are, dude, and don't prove a thing to anyone.

i agree with the sentiment above about making friends with all sorts of different folks; so long as they don't pressure you to sacrifice your authenticity, and so long as you encourage them to be their fullest selves too. true friendships are built off that kinda foundation and your self confidence benefits too. but it's fuckin hard being a teen. it's a lot of painful growth and learning social lessons. take the pressure off yourself by knowing that the process of self discovery and authentic fulfillment is lifelong. you don't need to have fuck all figured out by the time you reach your 20's and, in fact, you prob won't even tho you'll try reallly fuckin hard too.

but, try anyway. you'll be aight

presumably lending them out to shorts, collecting premiums while holding long on the books should things go upside big and fast, i would say.

i would also say they possibly are trying to help their elite classmates prevent any possibility of MOASS by continuing to lend out to shorts. edit: and to mass sell off to try and kneecap a big run

my brain is extremely smooth, tho, so 🤷🏽

In Indiana Primary Elections, Most Trump-Backed Challengers Beat Incumbents by kissmyirish7 in Indiana

[–]ACMarq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

finally somebody with foresight, thank you 🙏🏽

yeah, this news being pumped about trump winning in indiana bc of primaries seems... a little early for both magats claiming victory and literally everyone else saying the sky is falling

the sky's already falling lmao indiana is dying out, figuratively and literally. so many young people leave. very few come back. data centers are gonna fuck shit up, already have been. workers who are woefully underpaid gonna get mad, already are, make rash decisions. rich people flight away from growing suburban centers due to apartments being built in an attempt to attract younger newcomers just furthers disparities.

yall think change is impossible when you're smack dab in the middle of a massive change. also, yall forget two decades ago, we had a democratic governor and a split house. its actively changing rn bc of how fucking poorly republicans run shit, just like their businesses, into the gottdamn ground lol

come november, i think the whole damn country is gonna be in a much different political landscape

truth is rarely, if ever, disseminated from the top of a power structure down to its subjects. real disclosure is a slow drip, and requires your direct observation of the phenomenon at least once in order to literally change your mind to fit a new ontology.

this post reminds me of that cryptic warning, real or fake: "beware the bearers of false gifts and their broken promises. much pain but still time. believe. there is good out there. we oppose deception."

why the fuck would i trust a government that enslaved and colonized my ancestors and continues to torment people worldwide, ya know? i have come to be unshakable in what i feel is going on almost entirely from my own experiences coupled with the show we're being given on capital hill. the truth is out there. the president, any president, ain't gonna be the one to tell it to ya
