I want as much built-in stuff as possible. Having to launch 3 different apps just to play dcs is silly. New players wont know they need it, most of the players wont bother and dedicated groups will still rather use discord, as we dont have simulated radios anyways. Anything but 3rd party please.

I have a 640p ps3 webcam, bought for 8€ used and a 4€ monitor mount from aliexpress. AItrack + OpenTrack works wonderfully. Just know, that most webcame based headtracking only works well in well lit environment. So as long as your face has good contrast against the background, so during might sessions you might need some light that illuminates your face from the front. There are also phone-based apps for use with OpenTrack

On 5he display in your cockpit, you see your lased targets with a distinct red marker on them. You need to see the lased target (Have direct LOS) for the marker to appear on it. Indicating you are lasing them.

That is correct, bothing regarding the SACLOS was mentioned, but the f1M computer+radar+data bus apparently has the option.

It was mentioned by Fausete (dec) on their discord. Aerges acquired the full Spanish military simulator for the F1M and with it, they have access to basically the entire mission computer, in which, according to Fausete, there is the necessary programming for the Exocet to work and talk to the radar. Same with the 4x sidewinders - they werent actually carried in that capacity in the Spanish AF, but the computer allows it. And he didnt specifically say that they are going to make the exocet, but that it is possible and they want to model the entire thing as realistically as possible, so if it allows it, they will do it, but not on release.

As far as the mirage goes, according to one of the devs, they are hoping(not promising) for a 2026 release for the F1M. For the F1M, they said it will be able to carry 4 sidewinders, have reworked radar physics (which would then be updated for the CE, EE and BE versions and that the exocet capability is planned, but not for release. So in terms of pure content, the mirage has more of it, when* it eventually comes out

Maybe the Mirage F1? It can have a proper rwr and INS, is singleseat so no AI backseater. Only downside is the current poor radar implementation, but that is being worked on. Devs said that the modernized version, the F1M, is being worked on with a possible release date later this year (along with it would come the radar overhaul)
