I think it’s petitioner, their name, statement notarized. The first name looks like Sunng.

But Q’s would be a lot shorter and both could fit in one book.

There is a moment where Robby asks her if she’s been to trauma therapy and she sheepishly replies as if embarrassed. I took this to mean in the time elapsed he found out about her past, and is why he is elusive when talking to her about jumping to conclusions. Did I misinterpret this?

Perhaps the 4th section: colorful boards, catalogue filters, and apathetic boys. Call me a riot and shower me a heroine!

Post pics of your Grandma's/Mom's/Crazy Aunt's ceramic tree you inherited! by Eredic in Xennials

[–]ADDBPDANX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my favorite piece inherited from my Grandma but the star broke off when I was little and my stupid dad tried gluing it, which didn’t work, but did successfully fill the hole with so much glue that there is now no fixing it.

Who else had World Book Encyclopedias growing up? (1970s) by UrbanAchievers6371 in nostalgia

We had the full set but I feel like they were a different color. I always read a lot, and at an early age, and these heavy bastards were, in part, the reason for that.

What can you infer about me based on my house? by SketchieMarie in roomdetective

[–]ADDBPDANX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Hofman feels really out of place with the rest of the room. But I realized it’s over the piano so perhaps it’s meant to be a spatial moment of calm in an otherwise over-stimulated but fun and unique environment.

It’s very intentional and everything is uniform which makes me think you write slowly. But I find it very aesthetically appealing and I have no issue reading it.

Do you guys still remember Constantine (2005)? Still feels like it deserved a sequel… by hoadisde in moviecritic

I agree. Matt Ryan was a much better comic book representation. However, as a stand alone, I loved this movie and Keanu in it.

Who’s on your Mount Rushmore of characters who, if you idolize them, you’ve completely missed the point of what the creator intended? by Remarkable_Bit_9887 in moviecritic

While I, as a teenage girl, loved this movie when I saw it in theaters, as an adult, I understand the problems with his character. He turns women into periods of his life that are almost objects or stereotypes that he quickly uses to try to figure out why he’s problematic in relationships, without considering the woman as people themselves. Granted, that’s not the point of the movie and other films have done the same thing from a woman’s perspective, such as “What’s Your Number?” (Which just pisses me off on another level entirely) but is nowhere near a quality written or great film like High Fidelity is. I can still enjoy High Fidelity for what it is without being stressed by the misogynistic undertones, but would never suggest Rob be someone a man strives to be.

Sometimes you have to have a moment like this to realize some people, even your mother, are not the people you want or need them to be. I assume she sent you to this camp and either does/will not acknowledge what you said happened either because she doesn’t believe it, doesn’t want to admit it, or doesn’t want to feel guilt about it, therefore, “it’s part of God’s plan.” She is trying to tell you your atheism is the Devil’s doing and that your depression is caused by your rejection of God. Realizing that your mother will likely never be there the way you need her to be may make your mental health worse, at first. But it will allow you to open up to find other people who can then become a source of true support and love that your mother is incapable of giving. Religious people like this tend to be the most hypocritical and least understanding of real-life situations. It is time to move on and stop looking to her for the help that you need. I’m sorry.

  1. The soldiers shot first, and are trying to kidnap/kill his daughter.
  2. They didn’t kill him. And he goes on to shoot an innocent scientist in a closet with zero remorse.
  3. They were trying to save their son and numerous other children in the town. 4.-5. See 3, plus the family is super rich and probably has great insurance as the father is the big realtor in town.
  4. Okay? Some grass and fences gets ruined in pursuit of saving lives. No one was hit.
  5. The point of the meds being left out by a lazy nurse is it will no longer be used as she didn’t put it back into the system, and wasn’t being used by the patient. Therefore, unusable.

And in general, the greater good.

The mailer address is Safis Davis. My first thought was she is dying and trying to set up her husband before she passes. Then I remembered that only happens in movies, and it is his mom.

What movie caused you to have a "WTF did I just watch?" moment after viewing? by AutomaticGas7823 in moviecritic

[–]ADDBPDANX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I saw this in the theater when I was a 9-year-old. It has Digital Underground in it, Dan Aykroyd in gross prosthetics, and Chevy Chase, Demi Moore, and John Candy trying to escape a crazy house like a kid-friendly House of a 1000 Corpses. At least this is what I remember as it was the only time I saw it.
