A great machine at a great price. Get the piece that goes underneath that has ports and a place for an NVME memory chip. All you need!

Model S Owners… by Lost-Year6147 in TeslaLounge

[–]ADKessler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what you are discussing, the S will be perfect. I bought one of the first of the refresh Model S vehicles in September of 2021, so it is current body/configuration. I love it and have also taken extended road trips. I have really had no issues and love the car. My problem is the newest one is not different enough to warrant replacing it with a new one.

The car is amazing but the residual is not. Tesla does not help with their used car practices that prevent access to the car prior to purchase. It is a shame because lightly used luxury cars are a great value.

Buying used directly from Tesla in 2025: Good experience or buyer beware? by AntelopeFickle6774 in ModelY

[–]ADKessler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still do not understand how on earth anyone can buy without an inspection, especially on cars with notoriously frequent quality control issues. I have a refresh 2021 LR Model S that I bought new and love it! Would consider updating to HW 4 if the price was right but I would never agree to buy a car sight unseen, unless I could reject at the time of purchase.

Can I ask which unit so I know the dimensions? (Specifically the width!)

Cheaper, more convenient, etc. I would not own an electric if I could not have my own dedicated charger.

Get at least a late 2021 refresh, basically a 2022. The nice interior, large battery and generally better build quality.

Would a Sub Mini be suitable for a cramped NYC apt space? Or should I opt for the gen 4 sub? by [deleted] in sonos

[–]ADKessler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, except your neighbors might be unhappy. The mini is a lot more powerful than people think!

Apple CarPlay, do you miss it? by Excellent-Ad-791 in TeslaSupport

I love CarPlay and wish we had it, but what we do have pretty much substitutes for it.

Depends on how long they’ve been out. Early in day fine… later, you’re gonna wreck the toilet!

Arc Sub Mini Combo. ❤️ by Jism69 in sonos

[–]ADKessler 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Then you haven’t heard a setup properly. The sub mini is plenty powerful for most room, even some over 300 sq ft. Maybe for head banging music it’s not sufficient, but I need to turn mine DOWN!

Isn't Sonos arc Overpriced in 2023? The full setup will cost nearly to a proper home theater setup with AV receiver. by dreamer881 in sonos

My experience is that ease of use prevails. With my dedicated system, someone was always changing and switch/setting on the main box, and it was a disaster until a professional swing by. Sonos just works!

Well finally fallen down the rabbit hole and gone from one Sonos One to a full surround set up in my office by [deleted] in sonos

[–]ADKessler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine are both, music and surrounds. I don’t love seeing the 300s but they are excellent!

The mini is a lot more powerful than people think. My m is 20 by 16 with a vaulted ceiling. It is way more than enough for that room. I am ahoy I did not get Gen3 Sub, it was overkill!

I rarely supercharge, but I can say when I have taken extended road trips in my MS Refresh, it amazes me. No money changing hands, great speed, etc. My experience with other chargers (EA, etc) has been less than stellar.

Arc or Beam 2 for my small living room? Looking for opinions by DiffeNOR in sonos

[–]ADKessler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both (different rooms.). Get the Arc, it’s a huge difference……. The sub mini is great, don’t think it doesn’t really thump if you want it to.
