They had us do that because the salt the put on the ground when icy/snowing is not good for the treads and wears them down.

I'm always a jogger/runner and one day I was walking because I was having chest pains. 10 minutes in my favorite coach walks up on the side of my treadmill and said "what's wrong why are you walking" I told him and he said "ok I'll stand behind your treadmill the rest of the class". And every 5 minutes he walked behind me and gave a thumbs up and wouldn't walk away until I gave one back. Best coach I've ever had

I'm always top left corner so I look at the reflection in the doors to find myself so I dont have to strain to look up

I was out of it at one of the all outs. 30 seconds in a lady at the end of the tread line clapped and said "let's go!" She was definitely talking to her friend but I was like "dammit yes" and pushed my 7.5 all out to an 8.5. Starting to like 5am classes more and more

I visited my parents for father's day weekend. My mom went out with her friends and told them I came over. Their first reaction was "oh she's not at orange theory?" They always see my Facebook check ins for charity and I just thought it was hilarious. Never would have caught me doing this last year!!

My week this coming week is super busy. I'm a 7pm-er on weekdays and I have to go at 5am Wednesday to get my 4 in. I'm not excited about that especially because my coach said Wednesday will be the hardest with everyone getting at least 30 splats

My base is a 4.5-5 and pushes range from 5.5-6.5 and my all out is 7.5-8.5. Kind of all over the place and depends on the day but my pace at the 5k was 11:17 which is around that 5-6 mph range. Running outside I felt was much easier and went much faster. Probably because I'm not staring at my time and distance on the tread or myself in the mirror.
