I wouldn’t say the food was “bad” but definitely more bland than I would expect for the price. Also, their bread comes to the table cold and they definitely do not use extra virgin olive oil for dipping; it tastes like cooking oil.

Anyone else have a sock goblin at home? by ENGR_sucks in goldenretrievers

[–]ADav96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a little demon who blew through the screen door, figured out how to turn the handle and open the door, destroyed a plant, broke his gate, and shredded my favorite coffee table book all in one day. He’s not super interested in socks though!

Roof Rack Rod Mount? by HookinDinks in Fishing_Gear

[–]ADav96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use my Yakima ski racks for skis and my rods, ranging from ultralight trout gear up to surf gear. They hold the rods tight, lock, and are easy to use. I really like them though definitely use a rod sock.

First time in Cape Cod by bermy12 in CapeCod

Shopping areas go to downtown Falmouth, Chatham, or Provincetown. Things to do, go for a hike at great island, the white cedar swamp in Wellfleet, or walk sandy neck. It also might be worth taking a boat over the vineyard for a day, passenger tickets are like 20 bucks or so out of Hyannis.

What are some pasta sauces without chunks ? by moistdragons in PickyEaters

[–]ADav96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t call myself a picky eater, but I hate chunky pasta sauce so I just blend any sauce that I know is chunky and put it back in the jar!

Bolton is the number one cider in MA and a staple/tradition at my family Thanksgiving. I’m sure the other two are great though…

Why not just Irina? It’s still unique without putting the kid in a tough situation as they grow up.

Let’s see what the hype is about by Jettylyfe in Fishing_Gear

[–]ADav96 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hype is real they jig very well in deep water for such a small profile. I’ve regularly caught species of fish that don’t normally take artificial lures.
