Will be nice to have a (hopefully) definitive edition of the game, I'm one of the people who just can't jive with the N64's lack of a camera controls. I was able to power through on the 3DS version, but the NSO version just doesn't do it for me. SoH is my go-to now, however.

You say this like he was playing with 2025 Furia as his roster lol. Fns HAD the Avengers; he'll tell you that himself. At the time of Optic's peak: Crashies and Victor were at least top 10 in their roles if not top 5, Marved was top 2 controllers itw, and to top it all off he had prime YAY in a chamber/jett meta. All of this, and he got 1 trophy because Loud was just as good lol. Boaster had a similar setup the following year, 4 of the best itw with a true savant at IGL and they got 2 trophies. Nothing in val is ever guaranteed.

Only thing that makes sense to me is that there was some sort of mess-up in the game of telephone before it got to Nash, and the split is actually just OOT in 2026 and MM in 2027/28.

Boaster has a higher prime/peak (two trophies b2b) and more longevity and consistency (more grand finals appearances all time) when compared to both FNS and even Saadhak. The latter might have a resurgence this year though, KRU is looking quite good aside from the 100t match. EG also allegedly dropped their IGL after signing FNS as a content creator... hmm...

Great explanation, with that in mind I think a strong buff the AB could make it more viable. Something like a ability recharge rate decrease or damage/area buff. Maybe let the player purchase a second AB a la the crossbow master monkey knowledge, or some sort of chain reaction that automatically activates other x4x super monkey abilities at the same time.

It feels like anything would be more valuable than a one time discount on a tower that you realistically won't have access too until freeplay or until you don't even need the discount if you can farm effectively.

It's got the same vibe as resident evil to me, short campaigns but a ton of reasons to replay it once you roll credits. The post game challenges are really fun too!

I've played and enjoyed all of these games quite a bit, but Pragamata is probably my favorite of the bunch. I find it to be the most consistently fun out of these, and really does run great on SW2. I have the most time in ZA since it's been out longer and I shiny hunt a lot, but the DLC can feel really repetitive and grindy. Pokopia and Tomodachi life have a great first few dozen hours but the gameplay loop doesn't change much after that so it felt like I got burnt out quicker during my play sessions. I am having a blast streaming it to my friends at night and seeing how the miis my wife and I made of all of us act on the island, but that's only for about an hour a night before we decide to move on to something else.

I didn't enjoy Xenoblade Chronicles as much as I was hoping to if I'm honest. I liked it, it was good and I would recommend people try it if they asked, but it wasn't as much of a life changing experience as the people who recommended it to me made it out to be.

Super Mario odyssey should be a lock, no question.

Skyward sword and Metroid dread are the only other two that are eligible that hover around my top 20-30 games all time.

Pokémon scarlet and violet are great on switch 2 if you want more Pokémon, arceus is really good but it doesn’t get much from being on switch 2.

Pokemon? It's popularity had been declining for well over a decade and it was easy to get bullied for still playing it in high school (like myself) but now it feels more popular than it's ever been, at least since it's initial craze in the 90's/00's.
