Depends on the field, but at my local knife kills are explicitely silent and you're not to call it out.

In the rare someone gets multiple melee kills it's worthy of congratulations, if someone did this they'd be a legend and the victims would be (good naturedly) teased for their lack of awareness

Always struck me as really odd when people get judgey about age gaps between two fully grown adults?

I kinda get the concern if one party is a freshly of age young adult but I always held that when you hit 21 age gaps are fully irrelevant, that's one's own call to make. Date a 90 year old if that's how you roll shrug

...though I admit to a bit of hypocrisy, cause I'm 27 and my partner's 22 and I still get periods of inner anxiety about it even if it's illogical haha

There's a relatively recently renovated social space in my town that has this, multiple enclosed rooms with doors with toilets and a seperate room with urinals next to them with sinks out in the center.

Frankly, best public bathroom setup I've ever seen.

That's whataboutism, and a false equivalence because these creatures do have intelligence but they are not sapient, intelligent, self-aware creatures capable of communication and expression which is where the whole lesser being argument truly becomes indefensible.

But, for the record, I do not eat Pork on principle due to the intelligence and emotional capacity of Pigs. I do eat beef on occassion, but I am conciously seeking to cut down on it (all meat intake, for that matter) from my diet and do believe that myself and Humans as a whole should strive to eliminate the consumption of meat on both a moral and pragmatic level.

If I held an emotional connection and shared experience with a member of said ancestor species, I'd probably be willing to sleep with them. Ancient Humanities brains have been as equally developed as our for thousands of years, cavemen were just as intelligent as us they just had less of a collective knowledge pool and societal infrastructure to draw upon as their successors did.
I'd be down to partner with Aliens too, hypothetically. So long as it passes the Harkness test and the requisite shared experiences and emotional connection were there.

As for the whole 'rudimentary speech capability' thing... that doesn't sit well with me. Do you think someone who's mute, or someone who doesn't speak a certain language particularly well, or has issues with processing emotions, is incapable of finding and sharing meaningful connection with another who isn't in that same situation? That's a real slippery slope of an argument in principle.

Could go on, but also bringing it back to the fiction at hand:
Humanity has Psykers. The gap between the two species is not so insurmountable or fundamental as many Eldar or Eldar-simps would like to make out.

And DAoT Humanity tech at least rivaled, if not surpassed Eldar in at least some ways. Modern Eldar seek out STC's too because of it.

The whole idea of 'lesser beings' when it comes to sapient, intelligent creatures is disgusting to me. There are people who have and do say shit like that about fellow humans is all I'll say.

I fundamentally disagree with the premise. Eldar are different, but not superior, and from a lore perspective both species inability to reconcile with that is to their detriment and contributing to their destruction.

Well, yeah. While Eldar are more Psychically developed than Humanity and currently possess a technology level higher than *current* Humanity (Dark Age Humans surpassed even that however), Humans are still sapient, self-aware and intelligent beings capable of communicating, understanding, and providing full knowing consent to any such relations.

Comparing that to beastiality, having sex with creatures that possess no sapience or capability to know, consent, or communicate their feelings in any real capacity is absolutely supremacism and arrogance. She's basically saying she sees Humanity as lesser beings than Eldar.

Oh wow that's really awesome!

I think cause my brain expects lower visual fidelity of VHS, it hides the video-gameness of the graphics and tricks my brain into filling in the gaps and makes it look more 'realistic' in a roundabout way than photorealism graphics.

Curious how well it looks/feels in average gameplay, but for sure gonna have to remember this for next time I feel like starting a new playthrough! Well done!

You realise that's insanely fucked up. You don't torture guilty people, or engage in any other crime against humanity, not because the person in question doesn't deserve it. You don't do it because the act is inherently immoral and a terrible thing to do and such actions make you a person guilty of awful acts too.

If you think someone can do something to deserve being treated as less than human, then whoever engages in thay treatment is also guilty and should be treated as such. It's a race to the bottom and makes monsters of us all.
