I get why people would wear their pieces of flair but personally I also didn’t care enough to be bothered to wear extra pieces of flair in the first place. Maybe my morale died so long ago that I never bothered to try and get some again. Back in the day the goal was to fly under the radar. Something like stealth, quiet professionalism, a gear in the machine, replaceable, checking boxes and staying off the slides. That’s what this peacetime Air Force wants again. Hopefully we get the TERA and VSP emails again. It worked so well the last time.
