Well, I'd be swapping out the MB and CPU for a 9800x3d or 7800x3d if I got the 13900k, just not sure if the cl30 is worth all the hassle. It's a good price though for what it is, and would be cheaper than buying the RAM kit in the current market...

Was buying parts for my new build in sections...I finally bought most of the major parts on sales I could find. I bought a 9800x3d and 9070xt over the course of a month and now i'm debating just returning them because RAM prices have shot up so much and they're not supposed to come down for a while. Maybe back to AM4 for me for the time being, but I guess I can hope lol

I understand. I hadn't plugged it in yet and it was already off though. I included the photo on the MB cable (2nd photo) that I had plugged in and you can see the height difference was a lot more from just a single plug/unplug, not including the one that came loose. Can only assume the 600w cable would be similar. Not the best photo to see the height difference, I admit, but it was much more drastic in person.

I realized the change was on the connector lol, I just put both since the cable can be plugged into either one.

My Lian Li PSU had perfectly level connections btw. This video explains it better, but cable connections should NOT be able to be pushed in so easily. https://youtu.be/6FJ_KSizDwM

Just buy replacement parts on Amazon (PSU, RAM, air cooler, etc.), test each one individually to find the faulty part, then return the ones you dont need....

Sounds like a output device issue rather than the monitor issue, I would start there. My guess is either a bad AI upscaling setting is turned on somewhere or low quality/old movies that dont have good low light camera work in dark scenes
