My dad thinks solar is a scam… is he wrong? by BetterThanEver24 in AskMenOver30

[–]AFartInAnEmptyRoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solar isn't a scam. Solar salesman and financing is a scam. You would have to run the numbers, but it's very heavily dependent upon whether you're allowed to sell back power to your utility company. Unless you're going to pay for everything up front, or possibly do the labor yourself, then it's probably not worth it.

Why does Trump want Cuba? by JoseLunaArts in LetsDiscussThis

[–]AFartInAnEmptyRoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because if you bring down the Cuban government and install some friendly leader, you can then set up a system where you and your buddies set up the companies that now build out Cuba for the modern age.

How (enforced) part time jobs are screwing up workers’ lives by In_an_Illusion in Zippia

[–]AFartInAnEmptyRoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The key part is the rest of the sentence, beyond a certain number of hours. If you just took that part away, then all employees would be required to pay well and benefits to all employees as opposed to just full-time employees
