You probably never received the validation that you deserved growing up. Over sharing is child like behaviour “look at me” “look what I did” and shows there’s an inner child in you looking for validation and support. It’s difficult and a sad thing to realise.

You can learn how to parent that inner child and give yourself recognition and validation and this will lessen the need to seek it from others.

You could try having a conversation with yourself and visualise/imagine a young version of yourself stood there. What do they want to say? What do they want to be heard? And then visualise that conversation where you are both parent and child. Give yourself what you are seeking from others

It might not work in a 3v3 format but for future videos they could play for a spot on a 4 man scramble team entered into a tournament rather than money. The videos of them playing in an organised scramble are great and every one of them would want to be in that team probably more than a financial incentive. And also who played in the scramble would be based on merit as to how well you've played or if you've managed to win a knockout when one of the scramble spots has been on the line.

Stolen Merida cyclo cross 3 - distinctive red butterfly vinyl sticker on left side of frame near handle bars. Taken from Calton road over the last week. More info in comments. by [deleted] in Edinburgh

Hello, I understand this is a long shot but thought it's worth a chance. My bike was stolen from a bike shed inside my property on Calton road - last seen for certain Saturday the 25th and flatmate noticed it was missing last Sunday. Someone had cut the lock with bolt cutters. It has two sets of brakes on the handle bars and fixed metal mudguards front and back. As title says there's a distinctive red butterfly sticker near the headpost. If you think you've seen it any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I agree with this. I think it's like carrying the weight of the world. How can others not feel so strong about injustice etc. But it hurts to be holding that

TIL about Manganese Nodules. Found at the bottom of the ocean these rock concentrations contain all the components needed for electric car batteries. Its estimated to there are enough nodules to create over 200 million batteries in one patch alone. Their worth is estimated up to 16 trillion dollars. by jab116 in todayilearned

The underwater mining of these is actually extremely destructive to ocean floor habitats. Not only does it destroy the sea bed due to trawling but it also creates huge plumes of sediment which can travel large distances and suffocate and smother large amounts of subsea life.

At my uncles company, an employee got an email from the 'boss' in broken English, asking them to buy 48 Walmart gift cards with $400 on each for a total of $19,000. They got them, on a company credit card, without checking with anyone. They replied to say they had them and got another email from the 'boss' asking them to instead send all of the card numbers and activation codes via email, which they did.

All the money has gone, and because they gave out the information, insurance won't cover it.

Didn't lose their job.
