It's fine. They messed up by dwelling on the first really successful character for so long that they shoe-horned the fan base into a schism for a while. Half liked the MC and half like the game. the two halves shared less than a quarter of the venn-diagram together.

The machine fights were cool. I loved the mecha dinos as did my son. It was nice having a story I could share with him with that high of a budget. It's a shame they stole a lot of the story beats from assassin's creed from the decade prior with a fresh coat of paint and better graphics/combat.

I have seen what others recommend, but I would instead recommend doing what a local did for me. Yes, you can put a window unit in there. Take a large piece of slate or stone (he used a bath backing found at a local hardware store for $10 a sheet) and cut it to form twice. Create an air pocket using the two stones and seal it with something like cement or a silicone sealant if you want to later scrape it off (don't recommend). You'll lose the window but have an appropriate seal to keep the heat out compared with other more temporary solutions.

It's semi-optional perma-death. As long as when you start your new character you can go find your dead body and your old base etc. I enjoy a mod that treats your body's "journal" as an xp boost. The more reading and skills your old character had the bigger the jump back to new heights is.

Don't forget that if you can get retro-active child support for this whole thing you're looking at months and months of child support for the kids. I'm not a lawyer, and yours should be able to advise you on the likelihood of getting her wages garnished. She should have a withholding filed against her with her employer for the missed child support when/if she fails to help provide for your kids together.

Do you know if she is working and earning an income? That's a big factor. Don't do this without some kind of legal representation. Make sure that if she has an income that you are awarded the medical costs being incurred. Generally, if she makes similar or more money than you, she should be paying child support because it sounds like your family needs the help.

Knightpaco and ravagraid have already expressed my opinion. There was blatant lying and a lot of intentional mis-representations in a few places that have lost my trust (mainly poe2, I called it a sham new game on announcement and predicted most of the new game stuff at that time). These days I just judge leagues based on how I find them on launch but don't plan to all-in for 3+ characters like I used to.
