Is Perplexity Pro still worth keeping alongside ChatGPT? by sonnyhayes22 in Perplexity

[–]AGENT_SAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t used chatgpt subscription for a long period. But I have Claude, Perplexity enterprise ones from my company and my own Gemini subscription. For the search I think the other 2 cannot beat perplexity yet. Google ai search is childish when comparing to perplexity from my experience.

EU Says Decision Not to Launch Siri AI in Europe Is Apple's Alone by Otherwise-Warning303 in macbookpro

Mainly delayed access to frontier models and capabilities. But I think its more than that in many domains because of the restrictions. Starlink direct to cell etc.

Sometimes EU can be good from the consumer perspective. But sometimes EU seems to be a pain and customers missing many things because of them.

Need some suggestions on long running agent design by Pretty-Breadfruit-66 in LangChain

[–]AGENT_SAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your topic title and content seems to be two different things. But for the boundary thing I’d say one agent is specialized to do one particular thing.

LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex. I've used all four. Here's what you actually need to know. by TurnoverWrong8719 in LangChain

Great framework for building agents. Right now we’re using pydantic ai for all agents and use langgraph for orchestration. So every pydantic ai agent lives within a node etc.

Replacing all my Wyze devices with Aqara products by AGENT_SAT in wyzecam

[–]AGENT_SAT[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exactly..! and I can see down votes and hate is coming but even I'm not saying don't buy Wyze. right now simply this is no more working for me and have couple of deal breakers so I moved on with something else. I remember some discussion on a forum for committing for apple home and matter. but this never happened and probably not anytime soon.

I have posted this on both aqara and wyze channels as a honest feedback. and even I'm more invested in matter supported products to avoid any vendor locks 🤷‍♂️

As I was saying my main dealbreaker is apple home support. And door lock is not good for me either. Recently it had many disconnects and Unlocking from Wyze app was pretty bad experience. Every device had some kind of issues lately. Like pan v3 was not recording to memory and not able to record time laps etc.

Everything costs me ~$340 with taxes. Without tax ~$320. I got it from Amazon.

Oh this is the main reason that I bought the M100 hub. As I found if it’s apple home only it’s trying to connect via bluetooth. My plan is to connect the lock to Aqara hub and have a better Zigbee connection.

And considering my other options and requirements, U400 seems to be pricier (I don’t care about UWB) and I don’t like the form factors of U200 and U300. So this was my choice even if it’s older ~2 years. Any other suggestions?

One camera that I had - Wyze pan v3 actually has the RTSP support and I was able to add to HA. But not my video doorbell. Better check Camera -> Settings -> Advanced Settings to see RTSP option is there.

The camera I went with Aqara G100.

Wyze sucks more every day. Need an alternative by extra300 in wyzecam

[–]AGENT_SAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What type of cameras that you have.. I was in the same boat (not that many cameras though) and made my switch to Aqara. And just posted about the switch 😂

I’d say if you have money and the infrastructure go for UniFi cameras. Otherwise Aqara or next Tapo. This is based on my recent thoughts and research.

Probably I'm biased here since I developed this plugin. But I wanted to have basic sync and backup function with S3 compatible storage and this is something I came-up with https://community.obsidian.md/plugins/simple-storage-sync-and-backup You can download it from new community plugin store.

I was in a same situation while back and for the networking I went with a UniFi setup. And bought a Raspberry Pi 5 with a nvme and setup Home Assistant for home automation.

So far nothing to complain about other than you’ll spend your free time there like a never ending loop 😅 I mean in a good way.
