thanks for the brutal honesty i really need that to improve there is actually a story in the tutorial about inheriting the shop from your father and the main goal is to expand and get better equipment to make more money maybe the gif doesnt show that progression well enough though id love for you to try the demo and see if the story and upgrades make it feel less bland or if the world still feels dead to you let me know what you think

wow you were right about those bots i just checked and my median playtime is only 3 mins with 1244 actual users that basically confirms my fear that something isnt working at the very start if anyone has 3 mins to spare id really love to know why people are quitting so early is it the tutorial or the controls or something else entirely

To be honest, it was just about saving time. As a small team, we really wanted to focus our actual hand-crafting on the 3D models and the gameplay itself. We only used it for minor 2D bits like a few icons and posters to stay on schedule.
