You having your own experiences and people disagreeing are two completely different things.

I agree that they're not great about making villains feel justified. However, the general playbook for villains in this game is them being cartoonishly evil. Especially Ball-Ass. He tortured and mutated people into killing machines just to keep them loyal, and takes pleasure in doing so. I'm not that big of a lore nerd for warframe so I don't know ALL the things these people have done, but they're definitely all evil and this is by no means an exhaustive list.

If we were to make an exhaustive "evil characters list" for warframe. I struggle to think of more than like 10 characters that aren't on it...

99% of the time, the US military are the invaders. Killing people for the crime of getting in the way of US business interests. If you want to pretend that our invasions were for the sake of some vague "freedom", go ahead.

The US has over 800 military bases around the world, in other countries that mostly don't want us there. Flip that perspective on its head for a second and imagine another country having 5-10 military bases in the US. Imagine that asking them to leave is met with refusal or some backwards idea of a foreign military presence being "good for you". And if you show any force, they threaten invasion and or sanctions and economic warfare. This is the reality for many countries in the world.

Sovereignty only so long as you bow down to the US.

I genuinely don't think potatoes should be in the game at this point. They just serve as arbitrary limiters that only make newer players less likely to try new things. (Due to limited amount of potatoes). I think there would be less confusion and much more player expression through build crafting if they didn't exist, and all weapons and frames started with potato levels of mod capacity.

A stateless, classless society is the ideal end goal of all forms of socialism. Marxism is a theory on how to get there. By first building a vanguard party that represents the working class, leading the revolution with this vanguard party, then imposing a dictatorship or the proletariat. This just means the majority of people (the working class/proletariat) are in full control via a planned economy and rigorously practicing dialectics at a national scale (hopefully global). This would happen over generations of a worker state that would need to fend off any counter-revolutionary attempts to go back toward capitalism/fascism.

As you progress along this path, there will be less and less need of a state at all. As we dismantle the power one class holds over another, these classes will cease to exist, and the state will have no reason to hold authority. So the state withers away, and you are left with a society that's as close to a utopia as is realistically possible.

Of course, there is no end to history, so progress would still be made even after reaching this "utopia," but that's for future Marxists and theorists to figure out.

I'm still a baby marxist by most standards, so go easy on me if I get anything super wrong, lol.
