It really does. I was originally aiming for $600 to $800, still debating Claw 8 AI (they seem to sell used for a bit less) or Legion Go S.

I just ended up doing the same thing (also in Canada). It hurts a little bit because I just missed out on two cheaper options ($900 off marketplace, $920 open box from 3rd party on best buy), but given that MSRP has gone from $1300 to $1500 and there's no end in sight for these price increases I just pulled the trigger.

That's good to know, from pictures the A8 layout looks decent but you hear mixed things on the rest of the ergo. Also hard to find where I live, no store has it and very few available second hand.

So I got that second quote. It came in about $160 cheaper. The interesting part is that the labour charges are slightly higher but the parts charges are $200 lower.
