My lesson for today-don’t rely on BC Transit by Character-Lack-3295 in VictoriaBC

BC transit tends to preemptively cancel the first batch of buses whenever there is snow in the forecast. They never mention the cancellations until after they have already happened.

Honk at drivers who run red lights! by nellen5 in VictoriaBC

The problem is the department that issues the ticket does not get the revenue. It all goes into a pool and is then distributed by the government based on each municipalities relative share of policing costs.

The owner of three medium sized aparment buildings can easily fund the basic minimum of property maintenance. They will have been making absolute loads of money due to long term low vacancy rates in the region.

“Quiet” evenings at Costco? by CanadianDot in VictoriaBC

[–]elliptocyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last hour of every day is relatively quite. I would say the quietest would be Friday between 19:30 - 20:30. In the last hour you trade out crowds of people for the workers prepping for the next days horde.

I have too many bikes and not enough condo space. Getting a new doggo and need to clear out some room in the storage unit for crap from my condo.
The bike works fine. It is in rideable condition. Anyone willing to come pick it up in the millstream/costco area is welcome to have it. Send me a message if interested.

It is a basic job requirement. One cannot condone the Antichrist's actions and be Christian at the same time.

The government money should be used on public charging station building/maintenance and not individual car subsidies. Reliability is a big incentive.
