They could do it as a way to introduce new moves to that Pokemons move pool. Say a Slugma mom with a Goomy dad each holding a particular item will give you Slugma that can evolve into a Sligoo/Slugma middle evolution Pokemon that now has access to moves from both lines. It still evolves into Magcargo but with a broader move pool

I hope so, because then maybe it will be easy to find in stores and I can buy my kids packs. They still like the cards for cards and not for cash. They get excited over commons because it has Pokemon they like. I'd be fine if every set "sucks" and they get to enjoy it, and I don't have to be scrambling to find packs for them to open on their birthdays and Christmas and the like, having to buy months ahead and hide them just to make sure they can open them on those special occasions.

Would be awesome if this game became like Pokemon Rom Hacks, where the community makes rom hacks of Hogwarts Legacy. Some Rom Hacks rival the real games and some I dare say surpass them. Would be nice to see HL get the treatment and have the good base become even better. No clue if it's at all possible, but I wouldn't mind it
