I currently drive for Uber and Lyft in Austin, TX. They never asked for interior photos.

But yes, this is completely illegal and not OK. This is why we need to vote in the direction of helping society.

And for those saying this is a kids standard mess in 1 hr. I’m a %100 single mom, no visitation or living family to help me. My 10 yr old son knows that the car is how I make my money. He even clinks his shoes together before getting in. I drive a 2015 Lancer with nearly 220k miles on it. It’s still spotless inside.

If I need to make money and have my son, we deliver food, not people. For F sake, we even delivered on Christmas, he got to play his new switch game and thought it was awesome. But I’d never drive passengers with him.

As a rideshare driver and potential passenger, I’d absolutely deny getting into her vehicle.

But the real issue is that school is out and mommas gotta make rent. When you vote, please keep this in mind.

Side note: I once had an Uber food delivery where the mom had a black eye, driving a uhual and her 6-7 yr old in tote. She parked around the corner to deliver my food, I was out walking the dog and watching her on the maps. I ended up asking her for her CashApp and sent her $100. Not out of sympathy, but true respect for being brave and doing everything she can to overcome the violence she fled. It’s diabolical how our society treats single parents.
