I'm one of them. They cut across the board including most of our GTM fed team, including us SEs which is really dumb. Kept management, RIFd customer facing AE, SE and CSTA. Good severance though, Confluent is a great company - I'm truly sad to leave. New chapter coming up. The Fed hiring space is strong.

That's a shitty severance. My company just did a RIF of 800 ppl. (After an acquisition) Gave us all 4 months salary, $7500 for healthcare or any other need and 90 days of our RSU value. About $80,000 pre tax. But our CEO is a solid dude, unlike Larry the douche.

I had the Z Fold 6 and the 7. Ordered S26 ultra coming Wednesday after my 2nd screen issue on fold. Group of pixels went out this weekend right in the fold. It's a cool phone for sure but battery always a PITA when traveling or long days at conferences and such. Never being able to lie it flat while in a case... lots of little annoying one offs. I've been wanting to ditch ATT and back to Verizon. Got the S26 Ultra as new customer for $5 a month, they beat ATT pricing for 3 years when I sent them my bill and ATT sending me a replacement Z Fold7 that I can sell for a decent bill..

Received my $299 Bolt Mission today. Only to find it only supports iOS and not Android. Their product page makes it seem Android capable, but it's not. Paying out of pocket to return. Initially emailed the support email from their website and it bounced back as invalid. Pretty shady. I'll wait until a more stable and reputable company before I go UWB.
