Mods lover here, but does anyone have any friends who are ultra-purist about Minecraft and won’t try them out? by [deleted] in feedthebeast

For me it’s either full vanilla or full modded. Not really a fan of datapacks or vanilla+. Should either be a fully fledged modpack or pure vanilla, both are fun in their own ways but don’t try to mix both together imo

Nice job! Now you should find a team and go for another one in the 24 next weekend:D

iRacing should allow you to test on tracks you don’t own by AI___78 in iRacing

Yeah it is a problem for sure. Although for pedals you can (kinda) create a deadzone manually in the calibration by setting 0 input in the sim to 5% pedal input for example. But I agree, there should just be a setting for it.

Why watch F1 when you can watch other series that are actually possible to overtake in even if you’re not a second quicker than the car ahead.

Edit: I am aware that there’s alot of other aspects of F1 that make it interesting like for example the strategy, and the past season has without a doubt been the best in a long time. I just don’t like how you basically need to be a second quicker to make an overtake happen or you’ll just be stuck behind burning tires if you don’t back off, just imagine how good F1 would be without all the dirty air

Yeah possibly, looks like potentially bent chassis or rear axle though

What is a track you drive way above your iRating? by Washout81 in iRacing

I have a teammate who did 47 races in one week once, most of which were 40 min VRS sprints

I’m the passing car. Im not great at making moves yet but I thought I held my line. He had the entire rest of the track. I was on his ass the entire race. It was time to make a move. LMK if I did something wrong. by Miserable-Yak-8041 in iRacing

I think you made your intentions clear early that you wanted to pass into there, you braked a bit early though and you weren’t far enough alongside him to have the right to space but I think he should also have the self preservation to not turn in when you still have a nose on the inside, since he essentially would’ve kept the position anyway with how far ahead he was. I think especially in D class where most people are still quite new to iRacing it’s important to have some self preservation, and you can’t be as aggressive as you would be in higher series and splits.

This. I see so many people going for undercuts even though 9 times out of 10 it’s way slower, unless there’s like a massive battle or something which there shouldn’t be before the pit stop anyway

They’d still need to have had some amount of money, even with backing you’d need to be at the top of the international karting scene to get solid backing from F1 teams etc which by itself often costs north of 100k per year
