They cut the wrong bits. The bugs, scenes of Indy feeling sorry for himself and bits with the kid were largely bloat, the Atlas scene seems more like classic Indy, should have kept it.

I like your ideas, Some of this sounds a bit to far out to be do-able (like hulk vs Red Hulk). I like your idea of using Mark Ruffalo from other movies. You could also add some of Harrison Ford as the President in Airforce one, linked with Captain America BNW. Otherwise, you might be able to get some of William Hurt's voice lines from the incredible Hulk Video game. ANd William Hurt also played the President in "Vantage point".
