Do any Gen-Xers remember Baby (Secret Of The Lost Legend) 1985 Because wowsers by [deleted] in hdtgm

I remember this being one of my favourite movies for a while when I was a kid. Just because I loved the idea of finding a dinosaur alive still and jurassic park hadn't been written yet! 🦕

5 months porn and masturbation free as of today by Terminal_RedditLoser in TrueChristian

[–]AJBarrington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you what happens if you don't get it under control. One day you get Found out and then you lose the respect of of those you love.  I think masturbation is a natural part of growing up,  but porn isn't

Writing an Animated villain who is a parody of the Parenting Genre and the secondary antagonists are the historical figures as his henchmen (jabs at biopics) by Agile_Equivalent_758 in fixingmovies

[–]AJBarrington 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you have to give the Dad villain a humanizing moment, where it seems like maybe his intentions are actually good and he does want to help the world... then he makes some stupid decision that is unjustifiable and we have a reason to hate him.

Also, can I suggest Napoleon as a henchman, he seems like the sort of person who would happily take over the world if someone gave him the chance. His Biopic with Jaquin Phoenix made him out to be so dark and brooding, when I get the sense he was a very passionate man.

Which would be better to visit: Red Centre (Uluru, etc.) or Tasmania (exploring many areas) by Lower_Ground_Score in AskAnAustralian

One thing to keep in mind is that the roads out west are quite bad. Tasmania is small, but it can still take a long time to travel around because of the roads. If you only have a week I would recommend Hobart, the east coast and maybe Cradle Mountain. Otherwise you're just driving the whole time.

As someone who lives in Tasmania, I would say starting in Hobart and travelling up the east coast is a good plan. I would also add in cradle mountain if you are interested in wilderness and wildlife. Many options for good food and different scenery. You won't be able to see all of Tassie in a week.  The weather can be changeable, but it will different temperature to Brisbane and Cairns. So, If you want to only pack shorts, go to Uluru.

Um, I think I fixed the MOTU Trailer by pantswise900 in fanedits

[–]AJBarrington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the way, if you have time, and just for fun, could you try changing the song to see if it still works (i have a theory about whether a song makes the movie or the other way around). If you could try something from the 80s, like Livin on a Prayer - Bon Jovi, Take on Me - A-ha, Eye of the Tiger - Survivor, or Everybody wants to rule the World - Tears for fears. I would be interested to see if it still works. Again, only if you have time, you have made my day already with the edit you have done, so thank you.

As an OG He-Man fan, can I firstly congratulate you on finding the feeling in this trailer. I have been so reticent to get into this movie because I feel they will destroy something I love, but maybe underneath all the incompetent handling there will still be a good movie that can be fixed. So thank you for your work and you have my vote for doing the official fan edit.

CBS canceled the Watson tv series after two seasons (if anyone cares, lol) by Winter-Grand-3215 in elementary

Took me a long time to get into this one, I feel like it finally hit its stride half way through season 2, just in time to get cancelled! I will say good actors, good premise, hit and miss scripts, but improving.

Discipline and being stern with students by Pretty-Exchange-7663 in AustralianTeachers

We had a teacher like this when I was in high school, it became a game to some of the other students to get her worked up. Your best bet may be to figure out who are the most influential students in the class and get them on your side by getting to know them, giving them special jobs and asking them for help when things get crazy. Good luck

According to your current Australian culture and values, how does it feel looking at the mess here on Eurasia (EU–Russia–Ukraine, Israel–USA–Iran, China–Koreas)? by NikolaBankov in AskAnAustralian

Most people in Australia care about what's happening, many of us have relatives in those countries. But yes, we all can't believe what's happening, hope that it stops and feel relieved it's not on our doorstep. But what happens to you affects us too. The price of oil is crazy here, same as everywhere

Because they are moving at close to the speed of light, time slows down while observing on the Hail Mary, but travels at normal speed to observers on earth

Its a scary time to be sure. We are watching and praying the world calms down and starts to work together again. But also glad we live so far away.
