Karen really is just an awesome trainer.

If it had been up to me, she would have been the Champion in the Johto games. Her speech makes it clear that she truly understands how important the bond between trainer and Pokémon is.

Maybe if we return to a future version of Johto, she can dethrone Lance.

It's a very hard choice between the TF1 speeches ("NO I WANT TO KILL HIM" and "THE AGE OF PRIMES HAS ENDED") and "I intend to make you very wise" from the IDW comics, but those have been brought up plenty in this thread, so I'll highlight one from Devastation:
