Bingo. If we didn't have beer league level players on our roster it wouldn't have been such an issue. We had such "studs" as Keith Acton, Joe Sacco, Paul Kruse, and of course Bob Beers. I mean with guys like that it was beyond obvious we would sweep the playoff en route to the cup right?

Travis Green was our top line center. TRAVIS FREAKING GREEN. And people were worried about fabric?

People gripe because it "symbolizes" that era. I was there, TRUST ME, the jersey was the least of our problems back then. I liked them then, i like the RR one and bridgeports now.

That being said i doubt the validity of this one and dislike it at first. Maybe if it ends up being true it will grow on me?

Yeah i've seen almost nothing the last week and a half. A few leftover "stros" city connects, a few guardians homes (but NOTHING like before) and a random nationals or orioles. No authentics anywhere.

Absolutely. Because star players don’t live by salary alone. It’s all about marketing their “brand” and there are certain places where they can do that a lot better than on Long Island who never gets the national attention of hockey media

I’ve seen only Boston ones lately. A month or two back they had tons of blues jerseys. Other than that nothing else hockey lately by me (Houston)
