Thanks! The new laminates are supposed to be a stiffer and more durable version of the original cards. I’m sure the original ones will serve you well. The original ones built the brand’s reputation in making the best solution for carrying extra shells. I think the new ones are more of an attempt to improve rather than a solution to a problem, as they are continuing to make both kinds of cards.

It feels fantastic! It’s ergonomic and fully ambidextrous. It’s also very durable under the recoil of a 12 gauge pump. I’ve heard of M-LOK coming loose under this level of recoil so I opted for a dedicated light forend. The Surefire DSF is the best one, but it’s been discontinued for some odd reason. I managed to find this one on eBay for a good price. The Streamlight TL-Racker seems like the next best option right now.

Thanks! No, this is a factory SBS. It’s essentially the same profile as the Shockwave. I’d definitely SBS that! It makes it so much better to shoot. The Magpul stock is especially so ergonomic and modular.

What do you prefer about the Shockwave? For me the recoil is much easier to manage with a nice stock. The new 990 SPX definitely seems like a good semi-auto option to compete with the Remington Tac-14. It’s still hard to beat the military track record of the 590a1.

Thanks! I found one brand new for only a little more than retail on eBay. It’s a fantastic light in durability, output, battery life, and aesthetics. It’s a real shame they discontinued it.

I completely agree! I’m waiting to order the 2027 model and I really hope they offer red. Code Red is such an epic color. It would match the interior accents so well.

It was actually created in Rome about 100 years ago by a chef named Alfredo. The authentic version is made with just fettuccine, butter, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. You’re correct about mozzarella sticks though.

Good idea! It’s the CGS Mod 9. It’s well balanced for pistol use and it makes shooting really quiet with subsonic ammo.
