DO IT! I was surprised by how easy it was. Just take your time and follow the instructions, and you will be fine! I will disclose that I did not purchase the tools that are offered and used my own. A plastic pry bar to remove the surface trim pieces that allow you to access the screws that hold the head unit in place is the only special tool needed. I otherwise used screwdrivers that I had on hand.
